This air-conditioning compressor fits all 1986-91 Vanagon hard-top models, and 1987-91 pop-top models with factory-installed air conditioning. Brand-new, sold outright. No core charge.

Application Guide:
This compressor does not have screw-on type fittings. The hose ends that fit this compressor have no threads. The hoses are held on with a bracket that is attached to the back of the compressor by one bolt. Please ensure your existing compressor fits this description prior to ordering.

Fitment Notes:

• The hoses that meet the back of this compressor vary significantly from vehicle to vehicle and may need minor modifications to work.
• The suction hose is inconsistently located. Bending or re-drilling its support bracket may be necessary.
• The end of the discharge hose may need to be trimmed. Check for clearance in the compressor port before tightening the hose mounting bracket.
