Your old brackets are notorious for fatiguing and breaking, which can wreak havoc on your engine case. This is an aftermarket reproduction of the original design.

NOTE: We strongly recommend using our instead of this OE style bracket. 

Fit Note

Fitment note: The original bracket had a square hole to catch the bolt shoulder. This new one has a round hole, which requires a slightly different bolt and approach at tightening that bolt. However, if you purchase this bracket in conjunction with our Alternator Bracket Fix Kit (and you really, really should!), you won't need to worry about this, as our fix kit has the square hole and a brand-new bolt.
